Carpel Tunnel

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome occurs when the median nerve becomes compressed at the wrist. This compression may result in numbness, tingling, weakness or muscle atrophy in the hand and fingers.

Carpal tunnel syndrome is common in people who perform repetitive motions of the hand and wrist, such as using a keyboard, mouse or torque gun. Poor wrist position or chronic overuse can cause inflammation which will decrease space for the median nerve to travel to the hand. The result is compression of the nerve and the painful symptoms that are related to this condition.

Carpal tunnel may be made worse by subluxation of the vertebra in the neck or upper back. Scanning with the Insight Millennium Subluxation Station will tell us exactly where the nerve is affected. This may be corrected by Chiropractic adjustments or the use of our Carpal Tunnel Machine.

Our Carpal Tunnel Machine stretches and opens the tunnel allowing proper nerve function and restoring proper mechanics to the wrist joint. This treatment can reduce dependency on medication, bracing and even surgery.
